Scarlett was taken in from a shelter in Wilcox with a huge hernia that will need surgical repair. Scarlett was one of 10 dogs brought in from a hoarding situation. Understandably, this poor girl is very fearful and under-socialized.
Despite how fearful our newest rescue is, she is still very sweet; she wants attention and love, but doesn’t know what to expect from people. We are sure that with the skills of our amazing partner vet and the care of a loving foster family, Scarlett will heal physically and emotionally from her neglectful past.
We will keep everyone updated on Scarlett’s progress with MAIN. Please, if you are able, donate to her medical care chip-in fund via PayPal below. Thank You!
Scarlett has officially been adopted by her foster family! Congrats to all!
Update from Scarlett’s foster family, Nov. 2015: Scarlett had surgery this week. Hernia fixed, spayed and cherry eye repaired. She did very well and is recovering. Heading home for some TLC!
