What we DO know of Rocky’s story is that he was surrendered to the Humane Society with a broken jaw.
We don’t know the “how” or “why” of this story, but we hope you’ll join us in looking towards Rocky’s future rather than his past.
Rocky has already had surgery at our amazing partner vet to stabilize his jaw. He had fractures just behind the canine teeth on both sides; he now has a wire on one side and a protective muzzle in place.
Rocky is safe and loved in a wonderful foster home while he recovers from his injury. As always, we need funds to be able to continue to provide medical support to animals in need. Please donate to Rocky’s medical care chip in fund below if you are able.
One other thing we’re certain about Rocky’s story? He will now have the happy ending every dog deserves.
Rocky has been adopted! Congrats to Rocky and his new fur-ever family!
Update, July 22nd: Rocky has been medically cleared and is muzzle free!
Medical Update, May 16th: Rocky has already had surgery at our amazing partner vet to stabilize his jaw. He had fractures just behind the canine teeth on both sides; he now has a wire on one side and a protective muzzle in place.
