Sweet Phoenix is ready to find her best family to live her best life.
Phoenix is about 9 months old and weighs 15 pounds. She needs an experienced owner and a buddy of about the same size to play with. Phoenix is energetic and needs a yard where she can do some running. This girl needs lots of love and will return that love easily.
Phoenix is good with other dogs, but we aren’t sure about cats. She is a bit cautious when she meets new people, but you can’t blame her after what she’s been through Phoenix was run over by a car and has TWO plates in her hip. Thankfully she’s fully healed and ready to have a family.
Phoenix has been spayed, microchipped, licensed with Maricopa County, and up to date on vaccines.

Meet M.A.I.N.’s newest rescue girl, Phoenix. She is two years old, weighs 15 pounds, she’s a chihuahua mix, and such a cutie.
M.A.I.N. got an urgent plea from the Humane Society for this sweet girl. She’d been hit by a car and needed more help than they could give her. Enter Medical Animals In Need.
Phoenix’s pelvis break is actually the worst we’ve ever seen. Her x-rays are chilling, yet this girl has been nothing but sweet to our vets and, more than likely, relieved.
Phoenix had her surgery, and it went perfectly. Our girl is healing nicely and, of course, is getting the best care possible.
We already have a stack of bills, so we need your help. As always, we don’t like asking, but it’s necessary.
