Meet Herman!
Herman is a calm and sweet three year old Shar Pei mix that was on the county’s euthanasia list because he has a congenital defect called Entropion.
The video explains what this is, too – but essentially it’s when the eyelids curl inward so the eyelashes rub against the dog’s eyes. Over time, Entropion can lead to blindness – but with your help, Herman won’t have to worry about that! He will have surgery at Bethany Animal Hospital to correct the Entropion and then recover in a loving foster home.
Herman’s Updates: Herman’s surgery was successful and his eyes are good as new! He has officially be adopted by his foster family!
