Please welcome our newest rescue, Ferris!
This tiny 5 month old puppy came into the shelter with his lymph nodes and muzzle swollen, and his eyes crusted shut. We’ve seen this many times before and suspected he had puppy strangles. This infection needs immediate treatment with steroids and antibiotics so off we went to the shelter to pick him up…..
Ferris had a bath, ate some dinner, took his meds and then zonked out. ❤️ Our little boy had a big day. He’s been started on prednisone, antibiotics and drops for his eyes. We will have you fixed up in no time little buddy.
