Meet Kirby! This adorable eight week old puppy was rescued from County with a skin condition.
Initial scrapes for Mange were negative, but based on his symptoms (itchy, flaky skin) Dr. Katie has decided the best course of action is to treat for Sarcoptic Mange. Treatment includes medicated baths in a foster home. Once healed, he will be ready to find his fur-ever home!
Kirby’s Updates:
Kirby has been adopted by his foster mom! We can’t blame her for not letting this cutie go. Congrats to Kirby and his fur-ever family!
Update Oct. 31st from Kirby’s foster mom: Kirby is now out with the group and has stopped itching. The bricks they are walking on are about three inches wide, so that gives you an idea of how little they both are! I love them so! (Kirby is in back, foster brother Mickey is in front).
Update Oct. 15th: Kirby had a negative Mange scrape today! He weighs just two pounds!
