Meet Hudson!!
This sweet little boy was rescued from the West shelter. We are unsure how his injuries happen, but they are quite extensive. His abdomen is so bruised and swollen. He has a fractured pelvis as well as a tibia and fibula fracture. We are sure he was someone’s loved pet. He’s a good boy.
Our plan is to attempt a surgical repair of his leg. His tail will also be amputated due to a serious degloving injury that has caused extensive nerve damage. It’s very painful for him. He has to wear this giant cone because he wants to chew it.
A huge thank you to the Phoenix Animal Care Coalition PACC911 for taking Hudson into their LAF program. This will help tremendously with his surgery expenses. 💜
Hudson Update:
He had surgery to amputate his tail. A serious degloving injury caused extensive nerve damage that was very painful for him. He still has to wear his giant cone so he doesn’t try to chew it. His leg fractures have been set and casted. As you can see it’s a little awkward for him but he’s getting used to it! He’s recovering in a wonderful foster home.
A huge thank you to the Phoenix Animal Care Coalition PACC911 for taking Hudson into their LAF program. This will help tremendously with his surgery expenses. 💜
I him!!
