Meet Hendrix! He is approximately two years old and was brought in to the shelter by a good Samaritan after he was struck by a car.
County alerted us about this boy and got him started on pain medication and antibiotics right away. Hendrix has suspected multiple pelvic fractures and wounds all over his hind end. As always, we will keep everyone updated on Hendrix’s progress.
Medical Update, Dec. 4th: Good news! Hendrix does NOT have any broken bones on xray. He had surgery to clean and close his open wounds and will be headed to foster soon to recover.
Hendrix’s Updates:
Hendrix has been adopted! Congrats to Hendrix and his new fur-ever family. M.A.I.N. wishes you all a lifetime of cuddles and love!
A note on Hendrix from his foster mom, Jan. 6th: Whoever gets this little guy will be happy! He loves other dogs, cats, people, playing, snuggling and isn’t a fussy eater. I still can’t get him to sit for a treat, because he likes to dance and spin in circles instead. He recovered so nicely and I was happy to foster him. My other dog will miss him when he gets his forever home.
From Hendrix’s foster, Dec. 25th: Hendrix wishes everyone, human and furry a Happy Holiday! He has recovered from his injuries and is finally getting a much needed and long over-due bath. He will be ready for his forever home soon!
