Meet Brewster!
Brewster was rescued from the shelter with a leg injury after county reached out to M.A.I.N. for help. Upon further exam of Brewster by Dr. Andre at Bethany Animal Hospital, it was determined that Brewster had survived the deadly Distemper disease in the past. His leg has the classic “twitch” of the disease, called myoclonus. His leg will never be normal, but he gets around great and is full of life.
Brewster’s updates: Brewster has officially been adopted by his foster mom, Jessica! From Jessica: “Brewster is doing great! It’s hard for my camera to get a picture of him because of his twitch. He is sooo happy and already feels right at home. He is doing well potty training and is great with my other dogs, and likes to chase the cats. He just wants to be where you are so he follows me around the house. He loves his chew toys and to play out front with the kids after the sun goes down. We just love him, he’s an absolute sweetheart!”
