So the Az. Humane Society just raised over a half million dollars today yet the rescue has to pay for this poor Ricky’s medical bills.

Hi Therese. AHS put a lot of time and resources into diagnostics for Ricky, giving us a great head start. When it became beyond their capabilities, they reached out to us because of our outside vet hospital resources to see if we were able to get the treatment he needs. Not only is he spending the night at the vet tonight, there are additional diagnostic tests which will need to be done to try to determine the cause of his bleeding disorder. Those are specialized tests that we will have to send out to the Cornell University Department of Veterinary Medicine. We are in this for Ricky and will do our best to give him every possibly chance at recovery and a normal life. 💜

I appreciate all that you and all rescues do for the animals. I actually volunteer with a Rescue and have 3 dogs from them. I just feel that if AHS. Is going to ask for help from another rescue they should help with the medical expenses..
