Emma Has Been Adopted!
Meet Emma!
Emma was rescued by M.A.I.N. after her owners turned her in to the pound stating they could not afford her medical bills. Emma has a seizure disorder and will be started on anti-seizure medications at BAH. She will also need an eye exam, as she has drainage coming from both eyes and it is suspected she cannot see out of one or both eyes.
Medical Update, July 2012: Unfortunately Emma’s eyes have degenerated to the point where she cannot see and they are doing her more harm than good, causing pain and infection. Emma will have surgery to remove both her eyes.
Emma’s Updates: Emma has been adopted! She gets around great with her Shar Pei doggy sister and is happy and healthy!
