Sapphire Has Been Adopted!

Meet Sapphire!

Sapphire is a five month old Pittie with Demodectic Mange. She has been ignored for so long, that the mites have literally taken over her small body. Her legs have swollen to twice their normal size, and now, she has problems even opening her eyes.

From Sapphire’s Transporter Mark: I don’t have a lot of experience with rescue dogs or dogs in peril but Sapphire was just about as wretched as you could get in my book when I first dropped her off. YET she still found the strength to wag her tail when I picked her up and took her into BAH…today she was a spitfire when Dr. Katie opened up her cage to let me see her. She bolted from the room and down the cement hallway and all that time the tail was a waggin’. She is gonna be something…and soon.

Sapphire’s Updates: Sapphire has made a full recovery from Mange and is one beautiful Pittie! She has been adopted and finally found the fur-ever home that will love her as she deserves!

  2. Sapphire is such a beautiful dog. How could anyone have neglected a puppy
like that? You did a great rescuing her from certain death, restoring her
to good health and giving her the happy life she deserves with good people.
You should put up more updates for other dogs.
