Meet Ravioli.
Ravioli was rescued from the county shelter with some issues walking. Shelter vets have observed that at times her backend gives out on her and she is unable to stand or walk.
The shelter thinks this may be a chronic issue for Ravioli and was unable to adopt her out in this condition.
MAIN stepped up for this cute terrier girl and will be taking her to our partner vet for a full exam and xrays. We will keep everyone updated as we know more about her issues and diagnosis.
For now, Ravioli is in a loving foster home and doing well. Please, if you are able, donate to Ravioli’s medial care via PayPal below. Thank You!
Ravioli’s Updates:
Ravioli has been adopted! Congrats to Ravioli and her furever family!
Ravioli’s Adoptapet Bio: Hello world, I’m Ravioli, and I’m ready to find my forever home. The nice folks at M.A.I.N rescued me from a very sorry life a while ago (I can’t really remember when, probably ‘cause time flies when you’re finally having fun!). When they found me I was kind of “gimpy” and had a problem with walking, seems that’s all taken care of thanks to my fabulous foster mom who got me all well. OK, so I’m not the most energetic of dogs. I tend to focus on food and relaxation. Perhaps that’s why my fab foster family calls me “Ravi Rolly”. They have no shame, I say. At some point a girl is allowed all her creature comforts! As I mentioned, I’m mellow. Get along with all the other pups here, but wouldn’t mind just hangin’ out as the “only”. I can be kenneled or not, love to be cuddled and still sometimes have problems with my legs. I bet I would make someone who’s totally low key a great companion. Hey, not all of us have to jog and hike, you know. Some of us just like hanging out and watching a good movie. If that’s you, then we are a perfect match!
Update on Ravioli, July 2015: Ravioli is house trained but does not know the doggie door yet. She is having problems with her right back leg. When she first wakes up, both her back legs seem to give out for a couple of steps. She needs help up the steps at the end of the day. She has control of bowel and bladder but does have trouble squatting at times. She does not seem in pain and is very happy and loving. Gets along well with other dogs.
