Meet Mya!
It’s hard to find a new home, when all the other dogs can run and play. A broken leg stopped Mya from being able to do any of that. She could only sit and watch the other dogs leave with their new families. Then one day, someone stopped to say “hi” and didn’t turn away from Mya. She couldn’t believe it was finally happening! Freedom…
Mya will get treatment for her broken leg now, and soon join the family she’s been looking forward to for so long.
Mya’s Updates: Mya made a full recovery from her broken leg and was adopted by a wonderful family. From Mya’s fur-ever family: “Well Mayarella (our version of Cinderella) is doing great! She has now learned to sit on command and at every corner on the street and each door before we go out. I was attacked this morning with massive licks, kisses and tail-wagging. I now get kisses almost on request. Its been two weeks today that we have had her and it is hard to recall what life was like before her; all we know is, it wasn’t as good or as much fun. Recently, Mya passed her last test so now she has officially graduated from Doggie Obedience School. She was at the top of her class and really liked the hat. She was the only one who wore it peacefully for the full 15 minutes of trying to get pictures. She wasn’t the Valedictorian but did get ‘Miss Congeniality’ as the one most likely to lick your face and hand- we are so proud!”
