Milton is looking for a family to call his own.
Milton is 7 months old, weighs 17 pounds, and is a terrier mix. He found himself at the shelter with a horrible skin problem that was out of control. He had lost a ton of fur and was miserable from the constant itching.
Milton needed a great deal of one-on-one attention for his skin and unfortunately, the shelter isn’t equipped for that. It’s a win for M.A.I.N. and for Milton though. He came to M.A.I.N., got medicine from our vet at Heidi’s Village, was bathed with special soap, and his hair started growing back! Now, he looks wonderful and he’s a happy boy.
Milton is and acts like a puppy. He’s learning some great manners. He lets you know if he needs to go outside. He is doing great with sitting, laying down and walking on a leash. Milton has a blast playing with other dogs but hasn’t been around cats, so we don’t know about those. His foster mom describes Milton as being the “head of the neighborhood social committee.”
Milton plays and plays and plays. He enjoys toys and of course, loves anyone that is near him. He will be such a great addition to the family he adopts.
Milton is up to date on his vaccines, has been neutered, is licensed through Maricopa County, and has been microchipped. His adoption fee is $250.
