Meet Magoo!
Magoo was rescued from the county euthanasia list with severely infected eyes. After consulting Dr. Barrett, a dog ophthamologist, it was decided there was nothing we could do to save Magoo’s eyesight. Magoo was already blind secondary to the neglect and infections he had suffered for so long. It was determined the best course of action for Magoo was to remove his eyes (called an enucleation) to prevent a lifetime of future infections and medication.
Magoo’s Updates: Magoo has been adopted by one of our volunteers! He is happy, healthy and gets around AMAZING for being blind; nothing slows this guy down!
