Meet Henry.
Henry was rescued from the county shelter with an unknown condition of his back legs. Henry intermittently drags his right back leg and his hind end appears to be weak. If he moves too quickly or turns the wrong way, he falls down.
In addition, Henry has a healing wound on his right side and some smaller wounds on his right leg. At this time we are unsure of Henry’s diagnosis or how he got in this condition, but we DO know he needed a full service vet and rescue…enter M.A.I.N!
We are SO in love with this little guy! All things considered, he gets around pretty well and is such a happy, sweet boy. Henry will recover in a loving foster home and will be taken to our partner vet for a full examination and xrays. We will keep everyone updated on Henry’s journey with MAIN.
We can’t help dogs in need like Henry without your continued support. Please, if you are able, donate to Henry’s medical care chip-in fund via PayPal below. Every little bit counts- Thank You!
Henry’s Updates:
Henry has been adopted! Congrats to Henry and his furever family!
Update on Henry, July 2015: Per xrays, part of Henry’s spine was either formed incorrectly or damaged at some point. At this point, there isn’t anything we can do to fix the damage, but we will make sure Henry has a good quality of life. Henry gets around pretty well, despite his spinal issues and he does not appear to be in any pain distress. He is a happy, friendly little guy!
