Meet Eve!

Eve was rescued from county with multiple abscesses on her face and body. Upon further exam, it was discovered that Eve had a piece of wood stuck in her hip that had migrated down her leg. She will have surgery to remove the wood chip and will be started on antibiotics right away for the abscesses.

Eve’s Updates: We are so happy to report that Eve’s family has “foster failed” and are officially adopting her!!

We L❤️VE this update from Eve’s family….

We started fostering sweet Eve on 9/30/12. I’ll never forget that day—-The husband was at the Cardinals vs Dolphins game, when I got a call from Cathy Weigler that Eve was in need of a foster family ASAP. I brought her home that same day. (Mind you, the husband had no clue what was transpiring while he was away 😂) she was just the most perfect fit. When Kyle got home she instantly became his dog and the rest his history. As with most of our MAIN dogs we don’t know their past but from the bite marks on her face and the wooden bat fragments found embedded into her hips and legs, it’s safe to assume her past wasn’t always rainbows and butterflies. She was never let that define her. Eve is a survivor! She even beat real cancer with a smile on her face. She is the sweetest thing you have ever met. Eve is truly amazing we can’t imagine our home without her.

  1. She may have not been easy to place, but we are so happy we were able to provide just the right environment for her to thrive in. Excuse all the typos in her above update….sometimes doing things from the phone and autocorrect are your worst enemies
