Skeeter2Meet Skeeter.

Skeeter is an approximately three month old Terrier puppy that came in to the shelter with an injured leg. Like so many of our dogs, we don’t know their history- how they came to have such tragic injuries or why no one family was looking for them in their hour of need…

We do know that Skeeter needed an outlet from the shelter; a foster home to recover in and medical care by a full service vet. Initial Xrays at the shelter clinic show a “comminuted fracture of the distal 1/3 of the left tibia with an intact fibula,” meaning that Skeeter’s leg bone is broken in several areas.

Once we saw this sweet guy’s face, how could we say no to helping him?! Skeeter greeted his rescuers with tail wags and kisses- he’s a happy, friendly pup despite his injuries and difficulty getting around

We will keep everyone updated on Skeeter’s progress. Please, if you are able, donate to Skeeter’s medical are chip in fund via PayPal below. Thank You!
