Sarah – A3962515 at MCACC East.

Sarah needs a rescue to step up for her ASAP! She was e-listed today, but pulled off the list so a plea could be sent out (it was sent out late this afternoon). Sarah needs to get to a full service vet for diagnostics, she is lame on the left hind limb and there is some swelling on the front right paw. She is a very sweet 2 yr. old female, came in as a stray on 7/7/17. East is FULL, please share this post to help Sarah find an outlet. Thank you!

County is beyond capacity with over 1,100 dogs and cats. They do not have room for this many animals and they are still coming in daily. This dog was pulled off the E list for tonight but won’t be so lucky tomorrow.

Of course, our Fab Fosters stepped up..

Please welcome Jodi to the group. She will be fostering sweet Sarah when she’s back in town next week.

The old-timers (I can say that because I’m one too! ðŸ˜‚) will remember Jodi as the wonderful lady who adopted one of our first MAIN dogs, a beautiful little blind Sharpei named Emma. Welcome to the other side, Jodi!

Update July 21st 2017:

Sarah has met the pack and is out and mingling with us. She’s so sweet! And starting to feel better with pain meds on board! More wiggly energy!! She still isn’t much interested in any of the dogs, but she tolerates them ok. She has Valley Fever..

Update September 20th 2017:

Sarah keeping her mom busy…

She likes to get out all the toys, and when her mom cleans them up, she takes them all out again! ðŸ˜‚

Sarah is doing well and will be going in next month for a recheck of her VF titer. If that is improving then she will be cleared to be spayed so her foster to adopt family can officially adopt her.
