Pixie, RESCUED!Meet Pixie.

Pixie was brought in to the shelter as a stray with multiple tumors on her, including a very large one on her mammary gland that is suspect for cancer.

Despite Pixie’s circumstances, everyone who meets her remarks what an incredible and sweet dog she is! We couldn’t let this girl’s story end in the shelter and so we’ve taken her into our rescue and will provide her with the vet care she needs, and all the love she could ever want in a foster home.

Pixie has already made it through surgery to remove the tumors; the one on her leg has been determined to be a mast cell tumor and the mammary tumor has been sent off for a cytology report.

We will keep everyone posted on Pixie’s results. In the meantime, Pixie is loving her new life in her amazing foster home! Please, if you are able, donate to Pixie’s medical care chip in fund via PayPal below. Thank You!

Pixie’s Updates:

Pixie has been adopted by her foster family who fell in LOVE with her! Congrats Pixie!

From Pixie’s foster mom, Sept. 14th: She is a love! She’s doing pretty good. She just wants to sleep and eat. She does make sure gets up every time my son goes into a different room though. She wants to be with him every second of the day.
