Crispin, Pit Bull Terrier Puppy

Crispin1Meet Crispin.

Crispin has an unknown skin condition that causes most of his fur to scab and fall off. He was rescued from the county shelter, where they ruled out mange, ringworm and strangles…so his condition is something of a mystery!

Despite medicated baths and antibiotics, Crispin was not improving and so he needed a rescue and full-service vet care.

We are doing our best to keep Crispin comfortable and the itching at bay. For now, Crispin is in a wonderful foster home and we will update everyone when we have a diagnosis and plan of care from our vet.

Please, if you are able, donate to Crispin’s medical care fund via PayPal below. The dogs only have us…and we only have you! Thank You!

crispinUpdate, April 27th: This is not the update we had hoped to give…we had to help Crispin cross the rainbow bridge last night. Crispin was struggling with a worsening respiratory infection and was unable to maintain his temperature without a heat source. He was receiving IV antibiotics and fluids, when he suddenly started showing neurological twitches. Our vet ran some quick bloodwork. His total protein was only 1.2; low end is 4 and our vet says she has never seen a pup survive with a protein lower than 2. His WBCs were also severely elevated. We believe Crispin had the deadly distemper virus. 🙁

It was obvious Crispin was suffering and so we let him go, peacefully and surrounded by people who care. It doesn’t matter how long we have a dog in rescue, we love them all and grieve their passing as if they were our own. And in a sense they are- once a MAIN dog, always a MAIN dog. Rest in Peace little Crispin and know that you are loved forever by MAIN.

This could be a result of the chemtrails…nano technology. You might consider giving Crispin some Bentonite Clay…it’s fairly inexpensive on Amazon.com…it can clear body & skin of many things <3
