Meet Cosmo! Cosmo was brought in to county by animal control as a stray…his jaw hanging limply, broken in multiple places.

We can’t imagine the pain Cosmo must have been in when he first arrived at the pound and we may never know exactly what caused his injury. We do know that he underwent surgery at BAH and multiple pins and plates later, he is on the road to recovery!

Cosmo’s Updates:

Cosmo has been adopted! He has made a full recovery from his injuries and has been adopted by a wonderful family with two doggy siblings! Congrats to Cosmo and his fur-ever family!

Cosmo’s Petfinder bio: Hi there! I’m Cosmo, an ador-a-bull, love-a-bull, hug-a-bull Pit Bull looking for my fur-ever home! Let me tell you a little about myself first. I was found as a stray, running the streets of Phoenix, homeless and injured with a jaw broken in multiple places. I was scheduled to be euthanized at the County pound because of my injuries. Luckily, M.A.I.N. stepped in to save me and after surgery and some time healing, I am now stable enough to look for my fur-ever home! I’ve had a pretty rough road so far but I don’t let that get ME down! I like to focus on happy things, like running and playing at the dog park! I get along well with other dogs and run super fast; maybe we could go jogging together?! The humans always tell me I’m really handsome with my shiny Brindle coat, but I don’t let that go to my head. I’m a super sweet guy and I love to cuddle and give kisses. As much as I love to play, I also really love to lay next to you, soaking up pets and belly rubs. I’m a really smart boy too and already know “sit” for a treat- I would love to learn more! I just can’t wait for the day when the stars align and my fur-ever family finds me. Could that be YOU?!
