Meet Carson.

Carson is an adorable three month old puppy…with a broken jaw. 🙁

This poor little guy came into the county shelter as a stray and it was obvious he had an injury to his mouth.

Unfortunately this injury made him un-adoptable and Carson needed a rescue to step up for him.

We aren’t sure what caused Carson’s injury, but we have confirmed on Xray that the left side of his jaw is broken.

Carson is scheduled for surgery at our partner vet and will recover in a wonderful foster home. We will be sure to keep everyone updated on his progress.

Please, if you are able, donate to Carson’s medical care fund via PayPal below. Every little bit counts. Thank You!

Carson Updates:

Carson has been adopted! Congrats to Carson and his lucky forever family!

Update from Carson’s foster family, July 2016: My boy is so handsome. He’s got the best personality! He’s all puppy now that he has left his muzzle behind. He got neutered and needs one more set of shots. He’s so funny! He bites toes, fingers, noses, chins, and ears of both K9s & humans. He’s a licker too and he’s got a great talent for getting his tongue IN your nose. Today is the first time he’s been allowed to hang with the bigger kids and already he’s got the doggy door mastered. We’re working on potty training and it’s going well. As you can see from the pictures, he has chosen the 110+ pound English Mastiff to play with most often. I have 3 other dogs 11 pounds and smaller but he chose the biggest to be his buddy. I will say, they have a blast!
