Prince Arthur, Lab/Dane Mix

Prince Arthur at rescue, 39 poundsMeet Prince Arthur.

This poor soul is only two years old! We can’t imagine what kind of life those two years consisted of…and we don’t want to.

Prince Arthur weighs just 39 pounds- he’s skin and bones. Emaciation comes with a multitude of health issues and we don’t know what all is going on with this sweet dog.

We will take Prince Arthur to our partner vet asap and will know more in the coming week.

For now, Prince Arthur is safe in foster.

Please, if you are able, donate to Prince Arthur’s medical care chip in fund via PayPal below. We don’t know what all Prince’s future holds and so we truly appreciate any and all help with funds for his medical care. Thank You!

Prince Arthur’s Updates:

Prince Arthur has been adopted! Congrats to Prince Arthur and his new family!

Update May 2015: Arthur is doing great in foster and is already up to a whopping 53 pounds! He looks so much better and is beginning to get his personality back. His sense of smell is also beginning to come back. He’s displaying large amounts of curiosity, as any pup should. He goes on nearly daily walks around the park with his foster mom to build his strength. The bald patches on his rear are starting to fill in. He’s still eating and drinking well, and definitely looks forward to meal time.
