luigiMeet Luigi!

Luigi was rescued from the county shelter with some medical needs.

For starters, he is badly in need of a dental. He also has some sort of issue going on with his left eye; it appears cloudy and he may have advanced glaucoma. If this is the case, he will require an enucleation of the eye (removal).

For now, Luigi is safe in one of our wonderful foster homes and will see our partner vet very soon.

Luigi’s foster mom says he is an absolute sweetheart and does great with the other dogs and people in the home.

Please, if you are able, donate to Luigi’s medical care via PayPal below. Every little bit counts. Thank You!

Luigi’s Updates:

Luigi is doing great in a foster home while we work on a plan of care with our partner vet. We will keep everyone updated!

From Luigi’s foster mom, Sept. 2016: He’s doing A LOT better! We just ❤️ Him. He’s such a sweetheart! He’s a complete love bug! He is still sneezing and coughing but hopefully his medication will start working. And he seems to not be able to see out of his right eye at all. He is very cautious while walking out doors etc.
