Meet Callie!

This sweet senior girl was rescued from the county euthanasia list with a rear leg injury. unfortunattely, Callie’s leg was too badly broken for too long and she required an amputation. She gets around wonderful on three paws though and even at the age of 13 still likes to play with toys!

Callie’s updates: TriPAWd Callie has been adopted by her foster family! This sweet senior fit in so well, her foster family can’t imagine life without her. Congrats to Callie and her new fur-ever family!

From Callie’s new mom: “Callie is doing great!! She was very vocal when we first brought her home after surgery, but now that she can be with the other dogs, she is pretty content. She doesn’t go anywhere without her bf Capone, a 9 y.o. pibble! She’s deaf, but Capone lets her know what’s going on! I didn’t realize how thin she was, as I was mostly concerned about her leg, but she’s gained 13 lbs and still looks great. She doesn’t seem to mind only having three legs, and it definitely doesn’t slow her down! I don’t think she was really a house dog before this, but she’s adjusting well… she just hates leashes and collars!”
