Brody8Meet Brody.

Brody was just a baby when he was rescued and yet he already had to endure SO much.

This young pup was brought into the county pound with a terrible infection called “Strangles,” also known as “juvenile cellulitis”

Strangles is a nodular and pustular skin disorder that leads to swelling of the affected areas, oozing/pustular skin and pain.

In short, Brody has endured a lot of misery in his young life. M.A.I.N. plans to change all that though and will be getting Brody the vet care he needs while he recovers in a loving foster home.

In time, Brody will finally know what it is to be a happy, normal pup and we are so happy to be able to help him along this journey.

Read below to see how Brody has grown into a happy, healthy dog!

Brody’s Updates:

Brody has officially been adopted by his foster family! Congrats Brody!

Brody 1Brody’s Petfinder Bio: “Hello! I’m Brody, a pint-sized Chihuahua mix with a super-size personality! Sure, I’m a handsome guy NOW but would you believe not too long ago I was rescued from the pound with a horrible infection called “Strangles”? “Strangles” is a skin condition that affects puppies and is very painful. Lucky for me, M.A.I.N. got me the vet care I needed and after treatment and time in a great foster home I’m 100% healthy! Now I can start the search for my Happy Ending…a fur-ever family to call my own! Could that be YOU?! I’m a very sweet young guy and love everyone I meet including other dogs, cats and kids! I currently live in a foster home with cats and dogs of all sizes and do great with everyone. I consider myself to be a lap dog so I hope you’re looking for someone to cuddle with. I have a playful side too and LOVE toys, especially squeaky ones- I’m hoping my fur-ever family buys me lots of those! My favorite game is fetch and I’m really good at it. I recently started going to the dog park and boy is that fun. Everyone that meets me falls in love with me and tells me how cute I am; what can I say, I’m just being me! I’ve been living in a foster home for the past few months so I have a “leg up” on training. I’m working on being house trained and my leash manners and am already crate trained.

  2. Thanks for being such a great supporter/donator, Diane! 🙂 Be sure to check Brody’s page for pictures and updates. We should have some pictures from his foster home posted soon.

  3. I’m surprised, too, Jennifer! He is such a sweetheart! Loves everyone, kids, dogs, cats. He loves to snuggle and play with squeaky toys. He’s just waiting for the right family, can’t wait until they find him <3
