Meet Atticus!

When M.A.I.N. first rescued Atticus, it suspected that he had been hit by a car, but after Dr. Katie’s exam found several large puncture wounds around this little guy’s neck, we now know that he was attacked by a large dog. Atticus is terrified and in a lot of pain right now, so he doesn’t want to be touched. But, he’s a sweet little guy and as soon as he’s feeling better, we’ll try and give him some love again.

Atticus’ Updates: Atticus has officially been adopted by his foster mom, Melissa! Congrats to Atticus and his new fur-ever family!

From Melissa: I promised him I wouldn’t leave him anywhere. Both my husband and I went into this with the hopes Atticus would fit in with our family, lifestyle, etc. I am so glad to report he does indeed fit in. We love him so much and can’t imagine life without him now. He loves us just as much as well as his big sister Priscilla and little brother Diggy. We would like to officially adopt him! I know…throw the rotten tomatoes at us now for being “foster failures.” I just know in my heart Atticus would be the happiest living out the rest of his life with us!
